Pineapple, turmeric and mint have many health and healing benefits but the one main thing they have in common is that that they are all anti-inflammatory. Inflammation in the body can cause many different health problems. Cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, high blood pressure, Crohn’s disease and even Alzheimer’s have been known to be caused my inflammation in the body. Including this smoothie in your diet regularly can help to improve your health. And of course it’s delicious!
1 cup of water
1 1/2 cups baby spinach
1 stalk celery
1 tsp turmeric
1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple
4 medium mint leaves
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
