A holistic approach to mental health

When it comes to mental health, taking a holistic approach can help to promote a healthy mind, prevent the development of mental illness and disease, relieve the symptoms of those already suffering from these conditions, and slow or even prevent the development of neurodegenerative disease. A holistic approach– a combination of dietary and lifestyle habits, can be used alongside conventional treatment and in those with mild mental health conditions, can even lead to no longer needing conventional treatment* and can improve cognitive function, executive function and processing speed in those at risk for neurodegenerative diseases.
